Meet the Team

– Executive Director

A Zimbabwean writer and advocate, Tanatsiwa is an African Leadership Academy alumna. She’s a published author and former Junior Minister of Youth, Sport, Arts & Recreation (2020–2022).

As a SRHR radio host and SAYWHAT youth leader, she has long championed youth empowerment and wellness.

Tanatsiwa is currently pursuing International Relations at Ritsumeikan APU in Japan. In her role as Executive Director, Tanatsiwa steers the overall direction of the Tahris! Foundation, ensuring that its mission to empower individuals through eco-conscious, health-first self-care remains at the forefront of all initiatives.

Tanatsiwan combines her passion for youth empowerment and wellness with her leadership to drive the foundation’s growth and impact in remote communities.

– Programs Manager

Gerald is a Chemical & Processing Engineering student and the SRC President at Manicaland State University. His experience in student governance and policymaking has made him a passionate advocate for youth empowerment and marginalized groups.

As Programs Manager, he is responsible for the development and execution of the Tahris! Foundation’s wellness education workshops, tuition subsidies, and self-care kit distribution initiatives.

Drawing from his proven ability to negotiate and create positive change for students, Gerald ensures that the foundation’s programs are impactful and directly address the needs of underserved rural communities.

His background in research and product formulation also provides a unique technical perspective, informing how Tahris! can offer safe, effective, and sustainable self-care products through its programs

Co-Founder

A strategic powerhouse and African Leadership Academy alumna, Tinotenda is a visionary changemaker known for her precision and empathy.

She founded Chimzy Arts & Agribusiness Club to combat gender-based violence, using enterprise as a vehicle for empowerment, healing, and resilience.

In her role as Finance & Admin Manager, Tinotenda uses her razor-sharp financial and logistical mind to ensure that the Tahris! Foundation’s operations remain efficient, impactful, and human-centered.

Her commitment to people and performance shines through as she manages the foundation’s finances, administration, and customer relations, ensuring every resource is used to advance the foundation’s mission of providing wellness and education to underserved communities.
